Compliance is acting according to an order, set of rules or requests, and role compliance is adhering to requirements, standards, or regulations. The visitation module is developed with the Archdeacon's Office of a particular diocese to assist any church in preparing for an Archdeacon's Visitation. "Visitations will entail the issue by the Archdeacon's Office of a Questionnaire to be completed and returned to the Office before the Visitation is due to take place."
The Visitation compliance on The Digital Church Platform church software is a digital version of the questionnaire and responses that provide the archdeacon's office with a digital tool to provide a simple and easy-to-use solution to prepare, assess and archive annual visitations.
The purpose of the Archdeacon's Visitation is to check that the parish complies with the requirements of various measures, particularly the Inspection of Churches Measures 1955, the Parochial Registers and Records Measure 1978 and the Care of Churches and Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Measure 1991.
The Visitation Module on The Digital Church Platform church software provides an
easy-to-use tool to ensure all stakeholders operate effectively and efficiently.
With the Digital Church Platform® Visitation module, every church and with the permission of a church, the relevant Archdeacon's Office can easily see the status of the preparedness for the Archdeacon Visitation.
